dear  i have  driven  both the vehicle at a strech  of  250 -300  km   on a single   go  i  found  3.0 dicor to be   best  in its  performance  than  2.2  but  whne  u  look  at  company specification  3.0 l  deliver  power  of 115 -120  torque  while  2.2 deliver power  of 140 torque  though i  own  both   of them  over all  maintenence   of 3.0 l is  very  less  as compared  to  2.2 . well  i   would  like  to  know  ur  review   tooo.

Dear people,
I deleberately buyed the 3L version against the suggestions of others...and i am happy that i did! Wink

Safari 3L is one hell of a Stonking engine, and undoubtedly the most powerful among Indian SUVs. Altough they announce the 2.2 to be more powerful on paper, 3L beats it practically hands down.

3L is the best...no doubt!

ts  they need to  be set again and again
moreover  mine new2.2vvt had  to be  done  for engine before 13000 km becoz of fuel injector
while 3.ol
still  rocks.moreover   just compare with other  parts  with dealer

Just at 13000 KM ? What actually you get done on your engine ?

3L is obiviously the choice for more power and 4x4 performance. Ask TATA if its available.
