One of the prestigious awards of Indian Film Industry- The National Film Awards were announced last day. The 54th National Film awards were announced for the year 2006 as were delayed to due to delay in award results for year 2005 which just declared last year.

Though most of the awards were bogged by Bollywood but awards like Best actor and Best movie were taken by non bollywood film industry.
