    I start downloading from torrents at night arount 3 am but the downloading speed is much less than expected i.e around 30 kilobytes per second but at 4 am electricity went off but my pc was working thanks to my APC ups.
    when i checked downloading speed it suddenly reached 150 kbps which was real speed that is supposed be.

    I think reason for that was everyone surfing on same line switched off their pc's and whole bandwidth was available to me.

    Now my question is that isn't there any software or method that i can use most of bandwith even when other people in my area are online??? Huh

    There is nothing like that you got speed around 150 kbps as other people were not using it. May be the torrent you were using was having not much seeds.

    Why don't you test your speed at http://www.speedtest.net , try different centers and let us know what you get.

    Today’s broadband solutions are quite complex and require semiconductor manufacturers to integrate a wide-variety of innovative technologies to offer low power, cost-effective system solutions that address the needs of original equipment manufacturers, service providers, and end-users. This paper provides an overview of the various broadband infrastructure, access and home networking technologies and examines the essential technology building blocks required to deliver end-to-end broadband connectivity from the infrastructure to end-point devices.

    Increase BROADBAND speed

    This is for broad band connections,

    Make sure your logged on as actually "Administrator".
    Start->Run->type gpedit.msc
    Expand the "Local Computer Policy" branch.
    Expand the "Administrative Templates" branch.
    Expand the "Network Branch".
    Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler" in left window.
    In right window double-click the "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" setting.
    On setting tab check the "Enabled" item.
    Where it says "Bandwidth limit%" change it to read 0.

    Effect is immediate on some systems, some need to re-boot. This is more of a "counter what XP does" thing. In other words, programs can request up to 20% of the bandwidth be reserved for them, even with QoS disabled

    The basic principle is that Microsoft by default blocks 20% of the bandwidth for its own purposes. We are reducing it to zero!
