My experience with BSNL is very bad, I am still waiting GPRS to be activated on one of the BSNL SIM I bought a month back .

I suggest you to keep distance from BSNL Smiley

Dear ricky...

I would be happy if you get GPRS activated under a month...
They took 2 months (66 days to be exact...with some days of heated discussion between me and Customer care).

Still, i had to disconnect because it never worked... more than half of the day, networks were down... and at best would give speeds of 2~3 KB/s.

Well, I had it working and I used it a lot while Roaming and its free when you are on Roaming..
Hopefully it will help people who want to know this.

Hmm..
I had used it a week ago in roaming and there was no charge, as said will work only if you have selected bsnl there in roaming, if BSnL is not available then might not be free while roaming.
