I think you mis typed it .

BSNL 3G is HSDPA and hence can give upto 3.6 mbps, though I was able to achieve highest 1.4 mbps only on BSNL 3G.

3g=third generation.... it comes next to gprs,edge where the speed limits to 144kbps where u find difficulties in voice,video data transfers in phone.but in 3g, u can get max 3.6mbps! hence with 3g u can enjoy speed of internet in mobile phones..but yet full fledged 3g is not available in india at present.... bsnl3g in chennai s better with downloading. but 3rd party apps etc..,nd  NETWORK totally s**ks in 3g! HOPE PRIVATE NETWORKS COME WITH GOOD 3G

I am using BSNL 3g with samsung f480. Download speed with dap between 150 t0 400 kbps
