HP LaserJet MFP (Multi-funtion Pritners ) i.e:- HP LJ 3020,3030,3050,3052,3055 or HP LJ 1522nx, HP LJ 2840, 2820.( which basically Multi-Function Pritners for print , Scan, Copy & Fax.)

IF facing a Scanning related issue in above Pritners then there is a solution for the same:-

1.)First u have to check from pc that printing is working fine or not? if printing is also not possible then Go for Reinstalling the Printer Driver Once again.
2.) IF Pritning is working fine then Go For Copy ? IF Copy is  not working Then Go for cleaning the Scanner Portion of the Pritner *1
3.)IF Copy & Printer both working fine only facing Problem of scanning then try blow method:-

a) IF U have the Internet Connection Then Go to http://www.hp.com/#Support
b)Choose the option Download Drivers & software (firmware)
c)step 2:- Mention the model NO. Click  Go.
d) then select The OS ( Operating system)
e)Then u will find the Option Utility- in utility U will find the Option FIX SCAN UTILITY, on the Right hand side u fill find the option for Download. ( Dont Run Directly). Save it in ur desktop
f) Run the Utility then Restart both PC & Pritner Then check for scan

99% it will work

After this if u face same Probelm Then go for same procedure But this time GO to Updated Instead of utilty then Download HP TOOLBOX update.

AFter Downlaoding the FIX SCAN & Update oF TOOLBOX if face the Problem Then GO for Reinstalling the DRIVER or check With other PC.

* IF dont have Internet Connection Only One option Left go for Reinstalling the Drivers From C.D( While installeing it from C.d U must select ONLY Recommended Drivers,  NEITHER Tipical NOR Custom)

* 1} FOR CLEANING THE SCANNER:-a) IF U have HP LJ 3050 , 3055, 2840,2820 or 1522nx:- clean the Glass area from flatbed with SOFT CLOTH then Open the ADF ( automatic Document feeder) Door & clean the Rollers properly with soft clothes

b) IF U have HP LJ 3020,3030,3052 then open the Control panel towarda urside fron the Back. then clean the Glass & rollers with the cloths.

U still face the probelm then Contact the HP Customer care at 30306363 or 1800112267
