Many users might have struggled using the computer mouse...it wont move esp when its crucial and driving users crazy. Here are some useful shortcut keys that would save your nerve and time !!

Ctrl + F -- to find text on any given page
Ctrl + C -- Copies the selected text / picture / file / folder
Ctrl + V -- pastes the copied text / picture / file / folder

Alt + F4 -- to close any open page. It also shutsdown computer when no other page is open on the desktop
Alt + Tab -- to shift between open pages
Tab -- to jump to the next location (link / button/text area)
Shift + Tab -- to jump to the previous location

Windows key + R -- opens Run box.
Type calc - to open calculator
Type winword -- opens a new word document
Type notepad -- opens a new notepad file
Type iexplore -- opens a new internet explorer page

Windows key + L -- Locks your computer
Windows Key -- opens the start menu
Windows Key + D -- goes to desktop when many pages are open

Shift + right arrow or left arrow key -- select the text letter by letter
Ctrl + Shift + right arrow or left arrow key -- selects text word by word

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
