     Undecided I am learning c and c++  and I want a platform to practice on it but most of them don't work on vista please give me a download link  for c,c++ program which is easy to use and runs on vista .

    You may have been provided with old C++ compiler which do not work in XP and Vista but still you can make it work.

    For that you need start it from command prompt. for example if tc.exe is in C:\tc\tc.exe then first start command prompt then goto tc directory ..

    cd c:\tc

    then

    tc.exe


    it should work now!

    You should stick to the standard ones if you are doing for course, while you get expertise in them then there are many IDE available for C, C++ which can provide a lot more than basic compilation.
