Whenver I try to access orkut I get error that you are not allowed.. Huh?

You first need to find out what type restriction you have there.

 Is it by proxy server or by some hardware based firewall etc. ?

Ok.. tell me do you need to configure your browser in order to access internet ?

You look for proxy server setup .. if it works then fine.. else last option is web based proxy.. like proxut.com

Well, an intelligent LAN Admin also blocks site having "proxy" in their name..

The reason for which you are unable to login into Orkut :
1> Enabled Firewall.
2> Proxy SEttings.
3> The site might be blocked.
Solutions:
1> To disable Firewall in XP please refer below link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283673
2>If issue persist please follow the below steps.
a. Open new Internet Explorer-> click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Click on Privacy -> Under that click on Sites.. Tab -> you will find the sites which are blocked on your system-> Click on the site and click on Remove-> Click on OK -> Click on Apply------------> Now check in new Internet explorer.

3> If issue persist please restet internet Explorer by following the below link:

I belive this will resolve the issue. If issue persist please reply me I will send the alternative.
