whenever i start my computer it takes 2 min 30 sec to load ...thats a lots of time ..what should i do to improve the loading speed

I will soon compile list of tips which can help you to make your xp load faster.
In short you need to disable all unwanted services,
Remove unnecessary stuff from startup,
Defrag disk
Tweaking some registry entries etc.

And all this can be done with the tune up utilities 2008.
i m using it from long time and my pc is as fast as it was at the time of new installation of windows.
