Hyderabad based company has developed a device  that offers multiple functions – Internet browsing, data storage, IPTV, videoconferencing through Skype or Yahoo, DTH, watch movie on YouTube, 3D games, and digital video recording,  Ichip Technologies has also patented it.

Ichip says that this @Box brings home edutainment, for doing all above all you need is a broadband connection. This @Box will come with a keyboard, mouse and remote as part of package.

This embedded linux box has two variant and company shall launch @BOX next year. You will get this with service provider like BSNL, Doordarshan and other Telecom and DTH provider, though company is under negotiation only with all of them.

Price of the machine is expected to be 10000 but from other resource they said could cost around Rs. 4000 but what I see that shall cost around 10000 and supposed to work as box which can be connected to a TV and making it as entertainment hub  combining internet and TV together.
