Bsnl just launched new dataone broadband plan. Seems it is launched to have very basic plan and cheapest plan. Though it is very limited plan but now you can get 2mbps speed for just Rs. 125 per month. That is $3 a month. However this plan is lame actually. They are only providing 150 mb data transfer per month. If it exceeds then you have to pay Rs. 0.90 per extra mb. .

Home Plan 125 Details

Speed : 256kbps / upto 2mbps
Monthly Charges : Rs. 125 per month
Download/Upload Limit per month: 150mb
Minimum hire period : 3 months.
Security deposit :  NL

I think this plan is for them who just want to check mails from their homes and nothing else can be done with such a low downloading.

I don't understand what they are upto.
Well, such cheap plans do attract some unawared people but later on that unawareness hit them hard as they end up with huge bills.
Again.. seems they are making fool of someone.
ya, if they could have done 128kbps unlimited for Rs. 125 per month then would have been more attractive to those who looks for causal internet needs.

Thanks it is worst with Realince, I had very big problem, even with pre aid a/c they change yr a/c to post paid without informing you that to only for their Phone line and Not Internet and aks you pay extra. You have to be very carefull with them. It is not the same with  Bsnl.

Please give Us some Nice Unlimited plans BSNL!

IMHO, Any of these Limited plans are utterly useless, as person is Mostly worried about checking his  MB usage rather than Concentrating on the research!

But things seem to be getting worse with a new Cheat trick called "Fair Use policy" which is totally unfair.

Mate,
If I recieve Huge,Long bills this month- then yes.
BTW, I am using BSNL 750 Rs UL plan, and no Official announcement on Unfair use policy yet.

Airtel, TATA, and reliance have already done ( and are Loosing customers)

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
