Recently the President of China is on visit to the Indian Ocean's small country.. Republic of Seychelles , a group of 158 Islands, this is something for which India is concerned. May be China is showing that India is not having any influence of countries in Indian Ocean.

China is continuesly increasing his armed forces in Indian Ocean which is a matter of thought for Indian Defence. Both Indian and Chinese economies are progressing at fast rate and are the topic of discussion world wide. Both ofcourse need new markets to explore and to have better future. For India , he has to assure that sea route are safe and under proper influence because most of the business in India is through the searoutes. Chinese are on the other hand having keen eyes on African resources of OIL and raw materials.
Chinese are investing where Indians are saying that its very risky to invest there. Both the countries are now having most active trading now a days, both are having a good business with each other. India is now 10th largest country in terms of business from China.  China is having very strong manufacturing lineup and it finds India as important market for her. According to Goldman Sech, around 2042, India will be second largest economy after China hence its required both to have business terms in order to have better relations.

But on the other hand, China is also having a negative attitude towards India. China is against our permanent membership in Security Council, it was also against India as UN chief Candidate. Was also against India-America Nuclear Treat.

China's army used to invade boundries of Arunachal Pradesh often. Also its said that there base at Myanmar is to help terrorist activities in Nepal. China is having noticable relation with Pakistan and now a days is having relatively better relations with Bangladesh and Srilanka too.

So it has to be taken in account that should we neglect China's misleading policies ? Are we having enough resources to handle ?

If China and India develops conflict then we are not in very good position against it, China is having double "Defence Expenditure" than India, they are having more than double power in Army, they have 4 times more Tank than us and many more things.

So are we afraid of China ? Well, China is, no doubt powerful than India but China can't be like 1962 with India, things are changed and now we are in better and stronger position, if China do something wrong then would be harder for her too.

Just to mention here in last that we should understand that Pakistan is not the only concern of India, most of the Indian Army is on Pakistani border but what about Chinese ?...

We should ready to face ......

During Indian President Mr. Kalam's visit to Singapore, he claimed that the wound of the war in 1962 has been healed and India would like to see the rise of both China & India at the same time.

India-China relations have seen remarkable progress from some time. In 2005, both the countries established the Strategic Cooperative Partnership for Peace and Prosperity, which marks a new era of bilateral relationship. Economic and trade relations are developing smoothly. China has become the third largest trade partner of India. People of Both the sides are actively cooperating in science and technology, education, culture and other fields.

The two sides have also signed Political Parameters and Guiding Principles for the Settlement of the India-China Boundary Question. This is also a major achievement.  It serves the interests of both peoples and marks an important step towards the final settlement of the long-standing boundary question.

We have believed, India and China are not always friends.  But, if we take a close look ; there was a short period of time when bilateral relations were cold. Both countries have decided to be forward-looking and work together to develop the strategic partnership.

Let's all Pray for the friendly ties of both the countries and Hope for the Best....

But what all showed in artical or highlighted, it clearly means that China is pretending as friend but actually they want to dominate India..

ur rt Ricky... on a real tip ... China is a threat to India.
I’m not talking for any civil war etc…

It’s a threat because of the economic development, social development and population control and other achievements of china over India.

China has proven to be a threat to the world and it has likelihood to overshadow India.

there is no enemy or friend when we consider border issues, competition in international issues.

main draw back is we lack diplomacy, foresightness, in making us strong defence . economic independance, technological development, infrastructure development, educational development--
for a weak government, everyone is enemy, including our own citizens.
