As scheduled, Bajaj launched its new variant of XCD bike. The new Bajaj XCD 135 is equipped with 135cc DTS-Si engine.

While the bike is fully loaded and is aimed at the customers in the value segment looking for a sporty alternative, it will have many first-in-class features like a 135cc DTS-Si engine, a 5 speed gear box, auto choke, gas filled Nitrox absorbers, digital speedometer and LED tail lamps. Other significant features, include electric-start and front disc-brake.

The bike is priced moderately for Rs. 45000 (ex-showroom). As said, the bike is first of 3 launches of bikes. Which means we will have 2 more models coming up.

Bike Bajaj XCD DTS-Si 135cc engine gives out 10.2PS of peak power at 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 11.58Nm at 5000rpm. Interestingly bike gives a sporty style statement. As per news, the new XCD 135 DTS-Si has slightly longer wheelbase than older XCD.

It will be  available in  5 colors and decal option available, which the consumer can choose from.


Its not completely a different bike than XCD 125 but consider it as an enhancement. For big changes, wait for future version. But being 135cc, it will get an edge over 125cc bikes in same segment.
