Bajaj XCD's variant named as Bajaj XCD sprint which was supposed to be 125cc is  now going to be 150cc as per resources the Bajaj changed their strategies and now want it to compete with 150cc segment.

The XCD  Sprint was earlier showcased at Autoexp but had only 125cc engine.  The new Bajaj XCD sprint's new 150cc engine will be the DTSi-engine delivering maximum power of 14-16bhp. The new XCD sprint sports aggressive looks and sporty features with its 4-valve 12.5 PS @ 9000 rpm engine.

The bike has  modern look and most probably the competitors are the recent launches in 150cc segments such as Fz16, R15 from yamaha, Suzuki Zeus etc.  Expect launch of bike is in December 2008, keep your eyes open Smiley

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
