Tata Nano, the huge potential and ofcourse a dream come true. The 1 Lakh car TATA Nano is surely going to be trump card for TATA on its launch and TATAs know this that it won't be easy to handle its sales.

The Nano is expected to be on sale sometime during Durga Puja. Bookings for the Nano are expected to start from May and the delivery, through draws, by October.

Sources in Tata Motors said after a recent survey, the company concluded that it would be difficult for them to implement the first-come-first-serve policy. Because of the huge demand, the booking list could be manipulated, they fear. As TATA already know that there will be huge difference between demand and supply and to stop manipulation of this situation, they says that implementing a Lottery system is the best solution.

So what does all this means ? Well, you have to be lucky to buy a TATA Nano.. isn't ?

Yes you need to be lucky enough to enjoy the ownership of the Nano. But there is nothing to worry because even if the car has its engine in the rear it is a safe and reliable car for driving on congested city roads.

Ever heard about Beetle car from VW, if I am not wrong, it has engine on rear and ultimately became the longest-running and most-produced automobile of a single design. It remained a top seller in the US, even as rear-wheel drive conventional subcompacts were refined, and eventually replaced by front-wheel drive models.

May be TATA Nano can do similar wonders.. it has advantage of most cost effective car..

Many can afford the car so this is really very challenging task to get one, if you are lucky.
