Harley Davidson, a well known motorcycle manufacturer of America who set lots of standard in motorcycling world is soon coming to India.

This is all as India’s commerce ministry has now agreed to recognize European engine emission standards for motorcycle engines exceeding 800 cubic centimeters. That opens the door for Harley because the company’s bikes comply with European Union standards.

Though bike would cost double in India because of import duties etc. but still Harley has its buyers in India. Not to mention that other markets are saturated but India still has loads of scope.

Harley is in talk with Govt. to get few more relief in those duties.
