Tata motors who is in limelight because of its project for world's cheapest car and one of the most ambitious project finally pulls out his factory from Singur in West Bengal state.  The company took the decision when farmers refuses to co-operate.  The decision taken by Tata Motor's Chairman Ratan Tata said that they can not compromise security of their employees and farmers do not seems to turn down their protest, hence for the better of this project, we have shut down it. We are looking into alternatives.

Now as Tata is looking for new space for the Nano project, many stats gave them various offers including Gujarat, Mahrashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.  AP offered free land to Tata for the project. TATA's official were at Hyderabad, near they were there to inspect two locations for the Project. Chief Minister Reddy told the Tata officials that his government was ready to allot the required land for the project free of cost. He said the state would also provide all concessions on par with Tamil Nadu.

Tata's decision to pull out from Singur on Friday created mixed reaction. Biggest concern of people is that this incident may result negative impact on investment atmosphere in country.  Also, another concern is that the act of West Bengal Govt and Opposition there may have created a fear that for political affair may just ruin industrial establishment for their own advancements.
