The inaugural of the body building competition ‘Mr Giants’ was held at Kidiyoor Park Garden on Saturday January 17.
 
Speaking after inaugurating the competition Vaikunta Kamath, mentor, State Body Building Association, said that body building is unlike other competitions where status and prize assume importance. Here, even I one does not win, one’s health is improved in the process, he added.

Madhusoodan Heroor and Jagadish Amin compered the programme.
 
Only participants from authorized body building associations can participate in the competition. The winners of the competition will participate in the state-level contest to be held on Thursday February 8 and Friday January 9.
 
Narayan Shenoy, president, State Body Building Association, Sudarshan H, president, Udupi District Body Building Association, Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, secretary, Naveen, president, Giant Groups, and Premnath Ullal were present on the occasion.
