Sarabjit Singh's execution has been deferred by a month, with the new date of execution set at April 30 this year.  Earlier Jail authorities in Lahore have received the death warrant for the Indian national who has been on death row in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Central Jail for the past 17 years on charges of plotting bomb blasts in Lahore and Multan.

Pakistani Govt. says that he is guilty while Indian Govt. says that we should know how his case was handled, is he really guilty ?
Also everywhere people wants him to get release. It is said that it will help in better environment at both countries.

The rejection by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf of mercy petition of Indian national Sarabjit Singh on Monday found its echoes in the Rajya Sabha with both ruling Congress and Opposition BJP demanding a House resolution against the move.

Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistani human rights activist Asma Jahangir said that people at the 'high levels' are working hard to secure reprieve for him.

Well, for time being it is said that all prisoners of death sentence should be turned into life imprisonment. Well, that way he will have plenty of time to get out of the Pakistan Jail.
