    Tata steel on Wednesday 31 Jan. 07 finally acquired the British Steel company "The Corus Group" , the revenue of Tata steel is 1/4th of that Corus Group and is said to be 54th largest steel company but still it aquired the 9th biggest steel company in the world.

    Corus Group ... were badly suffering and their shares had gone as low as £ 40 per share and just the News that TATA was going to acquire it rose the shares to £460/- within night.

    The news is not old, the auction / bidding for corus acquisition is old  as 4-5 months but TATA acquired it only  now.

    BTW, its shares are gone high as 603 GBP .
    Here is the year report of Corus Share prices.


    Seems that good thing started happening with it only from April end 2006 . Lucky people who bought Corus shares before April .
