Four Indians – Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh and Anil Ambani and Kushal Pal Singh – were in the top 10 Forbes ‘2008 list of the World’s richest people.

India’s Ambani Brothers gained the most among the world’s richest over the past year and kushal pal Singh, who’s DLF ltd debuted on the stock exchange last july, is now the planet’s wealthiest real estate baron, the Forbes magazine said.

In all, India has 53 Billionaires – the most in Asia and fourth highest in the world, behind USA(469), Russia(87) and Germany(59). Indians in the top 10 include Laksmi Mittal(4th,$45b), Followed by Mukesh Ambani(5th, $43b),Anil Ambani (6th,$42b) and K P singh (8th, $30b).
