Mahindra Scorpio has take a good initiative for environment by installing the MIcro Hybrid Technology for its engine.

I think Tata and all other cars should implement this technology as it will save a lot of fuel.

I love the Dicor because of its looks but still my vote will go for Mahindra Scorpio as Scorpio is more of a practical, durable and economical SUV which is perfect for Indian roads.

Huge fuss.. and a mountain outta Mole hill.....

There's nothing 'Micro' and 'Hybrid' about it...
Its just a timer that shuts off engine when idle...

and i HATE IT...

It switches off the AC is sweltering 40.c heat of day!!

I think overuse of AC is a huge cause of fuel and electricity consumption the world over. I don't advocate a ban on the use of AC's or something becuase even I indulge in the luxury, but I think if everyone can develop the habit of using AC lesser and bearing a little heat, the effect on the environment will be positive.

Need of time is to develop some alternate technology for AC.
Same goes for internal combustion engine, we need change in technology.  From almost 100 years, the basic principle of engine is not changed.

right one there...

But for the against A/C party... There's a research that letting windows open and Driving Without AC .....INCREASES the fuel consumption. It spoils Car's aerodynamic shape and pulls in a lot of drag...

Shut up your windows and use AC people....Atleast better than getting asthama inhaling all truck exhausts.

Think WIDE people...Think Wide!

Well, in short go for Safari if you want to feel a class, Safari has been able to maintain its own place in SUV from so many years. VTT 2.2 is good ie. new Safari but if you want for to go for best in class refinement, better performance then go for Scorpio.

Hi, I had a tata safari 2000 model...which had more problems and had to sell within 2 years. I decided not to buy tata products from then. Now looking at the reviews of safari dicor. I want to really know...whether it is worth to revisit tata. Undecided

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
