One problem we have here in the US is a lack of widespread mass transportation and with gas prices rising, we need an alternative to all of the gas-guzzling vehicles that have been produced by all of the American automobile companies. When I drive to work in the morning, I see large vehicles EVERYWHERE that have only one person in them. Americans waste more gas than anyone on this planet, which contributes to high gas prices in India also, due to the fact that it is tied to the price of oil which acts as a single pool on the world market.
