    Ofcourse, from very long it has earned the reputation of one of the comfortable SUV and offroad it is brilliant. It is big but not mammoth, its suspension is one of the best in class in term of comfort and ride handling. It is SAFARI which brought the concept of SUV in India. With the advent of 2.2VTT , SAFARI just got better. However, at certain point it lags behind of latest SUVs but TATA has plan to renovate it somewhere in 2009.

    It was always best but its sales declined due to higher prices compared to other suvs like scorpio but as for now prices are slashed it will definately pick up sales.

    It is picking up sales already, now its not a Premium SUV as it used to be earlier. CRV, Endeavor, grand vitara etc. are now premium SUVs

    I feel Safari do not stand anywhere in front of endeavor , and Mitsubushi pajero but if you see value for money yeah Safari is The best indian SUV.
