Voter ID card is now mandatory and if you are willing to vote without it then you can't. Last time it was allowed to vote even if you are not having voter ID card but this time.. you need it.

This election they are trying to be more precautious  and says that Govt is ready to use any level of resources and hence its required to have Voter Identification Card .

Lets see that how this election goes.

Usually voter ID card are made few months before election. There is also now provision of photo Identity cards that will serve the same I think. You need to goto Tehseel of your area and there you can get it. They usually ask your address proof as as well as introduction from of any card holder from your area.
