Many people might be wondering who was in Miss Universe Contest from India this year? 
Well, it was  Mundi Simran Kaur Mundi who was crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2008, in April 2008. Simran represented India in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant.

Unfortunately this contestant,  after a good start where she  topped in her group for the Best National Costume as well as  was in top five in other sub-contests like the Swimwear Show and Ao Dai Show,  failed to make place in last 15 semi-finalist.
