Shockingly Uttar Pradesh's (UP) Chief Minister Mayawati has banned Movie in UP. Reason being told is that movie is having title song with Racial comments in it.

Mayawati has even sent a letter to Prime Minister regarding ban of movie in whole India.  People even abandoned a show related to movie in Lucknow.

Aaja nachle is tout to be Comeback movie for Mrs. Madhuri Dixit Nane

So what are the views, will it be a positive sign for movie or will hurt it?

I think its not racial comment, rather comment on a profession because Sunar is considered as high status work  where mochi is a low standard work.

Aaja Nachle banned also in Punjab..
Its said that it is a political move as well Govt. do not want communal issues in state of Punjab.

News Update:
UP. Govt has removed the ban from the movie as they agreed to remove objectionable line from songs.

But now its Haryana Govt. who has banned Aaja nachle in Haryana.

Good sign for Aaja Nachle Smiley

I believe that Aaja Nachle controversy is a crab issue, rather than focucing on these small issues we can concentrate on the real and practical issues which are more to be focused like poverty, unemployment, health, child labour etc rather than blaming each other. It is the time to get in to the fire and get the work done, not to identify the issues and debate as we are aware of the issues.

so true sristi...............the western world has left India far behind just because of these things wasting precious time here. When Condolezza Rice was told that Indians are going to be a super power soon........she reasoned out that India has so many castes, divisions and cultural variations they are caught up in that they do not stand a chance. We must improve, open ourselves to progress rather than waste time on such crab issues........and show them our real Sone ki chidiya..........isnt it....

i believe people Propagate such issues to add to the PR effect to fetch finances in their lockers. Nothing else!! No one cares about the racism that poor has to face in real life. And suffer from hunger and misery in India, leave alone the world.
