Hindi Movie Review : Black & White

The Concept
Movie tries to show psychology of a suicide bomber and also the emotions of a couple who tries to help him out of empathy. It revolves around various situations and moments of a suicide bomber just few days before he has to accomplish his mission to blast the RedFort on Indian Independence day.

The Movie
As I always try to do, I will keep it simple yet effective. As said above, movie is about human emotions specially when one is a terrorist.  The story of the movie is about a professor Rajan Mathur (Anil Kapur) who teaches Urdu in Delhi University College and his social activist wife Roma Mathur (Shefali Shah).  Numair (Anurag Sinha) who living with a polite poet untill he accomplish his mission. He meets Rajan Mathur and present himself as victim of Gujarat Riots and gains sympathy of Rajan and his wife too. Numair is actually a Fidayin from Afganistan who is here to blow the RedFort on eve of 15 August.  Now to invade highly secured Area of RedFort, he need Professor Rajan.

While he stay at Chandni Chowk (the place he is taking shelter and also Professor Rajan lives there) untill he get his job done, he sees various faces of life in Chandni Chowk, he sees that how much harmonal community is prevailing here. He then finds himself in a state of sheer confusion. Ultimately twisting his mission.

The Conclusion
First of all talk about the subject, the movie is tried to take out on that subject which is really field of Subhash Ghai, there is no mirch masala as you traditionally see in any Ghai movie. This movie talk about the truth of life that how young people are exploited by those terrorist group. They just make their mind to do anything they want.
Subject is really sensitive and Subhash Ghai did a nice job overall apart of few minor glitches.
Anurag Sinha, as a debutant, his work is noticable. Specially Anil Kapoor did his job so nicely, he is the real person who contributed lot positively towards the "Black & White" .
Music by Sukhwinder Singh comes up as average. Screen play and editing is fine. Over all this movie is can prove good to watch however do not forget that towards end movie looses its track and become irrational.
