    Dhoom Dadakka Review

As the name suggest Dhoom Dhadaka .. oops Dhoom Dadakka ( I don't know what made director to spell it like that while most of us spell it Dhadaka.. arn't yo?). Movie has lots of Dhoom dadakka but kind of meaningless. All Dhoom is only ghoom and ghoom and dhadaka is actually missing. It is hard to digest that why again we have another unsuccessful attempt for a comedy. Here it seems that standard for comedy is some Dons and their mess. I guess Dons are not really funny.

Anyways, Movies starts with Don summit in Bangkok where two Don ie. Mungila (Anupam Kher) and Don Fursat Lala (Gulshan Grover) are fighting to get a plot in Alibag in Mumbai. While Mungilal wants that plot to build a Hospital there as (in flashback) his father died due to lack of proper medical treatment after a bomb blast. Whereas, the other Bhai aka Don Fursat Lala want to build a casino sort of thing there.

So Mr. Big Don ie. Ganpat Rai (Jakie Shroff) declares that one who has heir will get the piece of land. Since Mungli is a bachelor and Don Fursat Lala has a son, he has now limited time to show his heir.

Incidently, Mungli had a sister who had a son but this fact was not known until Mugli's parter Jignesh (Satish Shah) got know from one of the letter which her sister used to send but Mungli never bothered to read them since they separated years ago.

Here comes  Johnny English (Satish Kaushik), a Mumbai detective to hunt for Mungli's so called lost sister. Though Johny english's wife is  deprived of many desires because Johny English is said to be impotent so she flirts with every guy she came across.. (children friendly comedy ? Beware!)

In all this fuzz, we have three prospective heirs who just arrives from nowhere along with their girlfriends.

It is then little more fuzz and you find Dons with these youngsters running all around and feels that even the actors do not know what is going on and what they are doing.

Beginning of movie is little promising but later on it looses its track so heavily that it hard to bear it. Poor script, incompetent dialuogs and even below average music.

Aside of strong starcast for a comic movie, it totally fails to harvest them.  Rest is upon you, go and watch and then compare it with my views Smiley

I give it 2 out of 5.. thinking for 1.5 but start cast makes it +0.5 Smiley
