Kartick Calling Kartick: A phone call that changed everything

 Kartick Calling Kartick is the story of Kartick (Farhan Akhtar) who is a bacis kind of person for whom nothing works and nobody knows. He gets bullied and is a gulliable person who anyone can take for a ride. He works in a construction company  for four years and is not able to confess his love for  Shonali Mukhargee (Deepeka Padukone) who works there as well. He has excelled in his academics but in life issues he remains a loser. He is on the verge of ending his life when he gets a call from Kartick, ya he sounds like him, talks like him and knows everything about his life and also wants to help and make things better for Kartick. Our hero accepts the offer and everything starts getting better for him from thereon, but like no favour is free of cost, so also, Karthik's new found happiness comes at a cost. A cost so great that he stands to lose all that he has acheived.

It’s a well thought over film and a good script,but the climax spoils the show and gets the movie in the ditches. The climax could have been done in a much better manner when we come to know the identity of the other Kartick. Deepika’s hairstyle sure suits her and she looks wonderful in the movie and the chemistry between Farhan and Deepika is just too good to be missed. The music has been liked by all and is doing well for itself . Ram Kapoor, Vivan Bhatena, Tarana, Shefali Chhaya and Vipin Sharma fit into their parts well.


Final verdict: a movie that one must see for the sheer brilliant way Farhan has acted in the movie.
