Pyaar Impossible: Love story of beauty and the beast, sorry Geek

Pyaar impossible is the story of Abhay (Uday Chopra) who is a computer geek and madly in love with Alisha (Priyanka Chopra), the collage hottie. So what’s new? Well Abhay feels that he doesn’t deserve her and never expresses his love to her, (wise move). In one scene Abhay saves Alisha’s life but she barely notices him and leaves the collage the next day. They meet again after seven years in Singapore to find that Alisha is now a mother of a young girl Tanya. Abhay looks after Tanya and that’s when Alisha notices him and his goody goody qualities. Abhay has come to Singapore after Dino Morea( Varun) who has fled with his software design and Abhay wants his design and respect back. He after these many years gathers the courage to tell about his love to Priyanka, what happens in the end is anyone’s guess.

The story written by Uday to save his sinking ship has a new feel to it, but also requires something more in it. It has an amateurish feel to it and is also slow paced in the begging. His acting as the geek is effortless and he has worked hard, but won’t be able to get to the audience. Priyanka is superb and fits the role perfectly and delivers her best in the movie. She even appears cute as a geek and the young girl is also a pleasure to watch. Dino and Anupam kher have a brief appearance in the movie.

The movie starts like a unattainable love story and gradually catches pace but will not be able to hold the audience’s attention. Prayanka fans can see this one because of her and others can seethe movie for a different feel or 3 idiots as it will make a better choice than Pyaar impossible or Dulha Mil Gaya.
