    CHINA benefits, INDIA loses because of  Indian communists.    PM Manmohan Singh's government need the communist party votes to stay in power. This has enabled the latter to bully the Indian government, block much needed reforms and slow keep economic development of the country.
    Result - China gets the cake and India loses.  We are our own enemy.!!!

    =================

    The CPI(M) general secretary Mr Karat gave a clear hint about the shape of political events that his party would like to see: a much leaner Congress so he could twist its arms even tighter.

    The political document released by Karat holds ominous portents for the Congress. It BOASTS in its policy document - -

     “During the three and a half years of the UPA government, the opposition of the Left blocked efforts to increase FDI in insurance and banking and stopped FDI in retail trade after its partial introduction. The firm stand taken on disinvestment in BHEL led to the stoppage of disinvestment in the navratna companies and also in profitable PSUs. The government was forced to restrict futures trading in rice and wheat.

    The government has not succeeded in privatising pension funds or bringing major changes in labour laws,” the document said. In his interaction with the media last Sunday, Karat also made the point that the Left will not just be calling the shots but also be boasting about it. Incidentally, these are the items that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh considered critical to the governance agenda that he wanted to establish when Ms Sonia Gandhi selected him to lead the government at the Centre.

    On the Indo-US nuclear deal, too, the bullies from the Left have made it clear that they will not tolerate disobedience. The CPI(M) document has claimed success in intimidating the government. “Faced with the political consequences of a confrontation with the Left, the Congress and the UPA decided not to proceed further with the operationalisation of the agreement,” the document said.

    Karat’s document says that the effort of the Left will now be on complicating things for Manmohan Singh and his team. It has also claimed credit for putting reforms in the reverse gear.

    its just the greed of throne which had bounded UPA to join hands with the communists or else there is not even a single issue that matches in their political and social agenda. If Karat had the intention to make congress leaner then certainly he has got success in it.
    Left has always played politics lurking behind poor, but none of their ideas are for the upliftment of the same. How can they support FDI when they know that it will be helpful to better the financial condition of this country. if people get rich then who will be there to hear them thats why they want India to be poor so that they may keep this disgusting game on.
