    Gulli danda
    Kabbadi
    Kho-kho

and some old famous games ... are vanishing fast from out culture

Is this a threat to our originality?
Does this mean we no longer enjoy tradition ... even the games?
Or, is it that we have lost touch with the nature and preffer indore games??

As far as I remember, KHO-KHO is still in some Indian National sports events and Gulli-Danda is the most ignored one among the three you mentioned.

I saw Gilli - danda last when I was too young but I want to mention here that Gilli-Danda requires skill & timing while playing.

    Lastly..
Have you played all above mentioned games ?
I have played all three ..

Also, what do you think why Gilli Danda is the most ignored one ?

Well..Gilli Danda may have been a traditional indian game, but then as compared to other sports its now much ignored....one reason might be its not so"classic" as compared to other games !!!

Personally, i am NOT against the game !! Smiley

Hey ! Have you played "Pithoo" ..thats what we called !! Its was like putting stones on above other..and then two teams, the one who hit the stones with ball were chased and hit the ball by other team members while they tried to put the stones together again...the ones who got hit with the ball were "out" !! It was fun Cheesy

No, Sekantadi or Gaindtadi is another game. Pithhu or also called Teepo at my place is basically what Talat mentioned.
On the other hand Gaindtadi which I used to play at my very young age as well as in school was simply game of hitting each other with a ball.
The skill used in this game was primarily was to face the ball thrown to you from very close sp, sometimes 1 foot distance. I used to be  famous as Mr. Hit hard Tongue ie. whenever I used to hit, it was really a pain for the one who faced it.
