in last 150 years the share market has grown at the rate of17 percent annually. and all these years include two world wars, the great economic depression of the 1930s, the petroleum cris of the 1970's , the harshad mehta scam in indian market and the recent global subprime crisis and global economic slowdown. and remembering the great warren buffet's seminal dictum, nothing can be more true than investing in the bear market when other investers flee. investing just 1000 rupees every month over a period of 25 years , gives a return of 22,ooooo rupees ! warren buffet started with 100 dollars. mr. jhunjhunwalla started with rs 4000. and they didn't sale their shares. one who had bought unitech at 49 paisa is now worth crores of rupees. patience and absolute detemination and regular investing with unrealised gain will certainly work wonders. not convinced? start with rs 100 and forget the market. look at your portfolio after 15 years.

Ya, positively said and also one should understand that invest only those companies which are fundamentally strong.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
