    Vodafone, a leading Indian telecom company who is also one of the biggest telecom provider in the world won the contract with Apple to provide  Apple iPhone in India.

    iphone was launched a year back in US and now its going to be available in India around end of year 2008. However the launching price of the phone is not known but company said that it would be competitive.

    Vodafone got agreement from Apple to sell iphone in 10 countries including India, Australia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey.

    Currently iphone in India is only available through grey market however, availability through vodafone will popularize it even more. Should be a great deal for company as well as the customers.
