As discussed earlier here, TATA rolled out their new GSM service in Tamil Nadu in collaboration with Docomo and branded as TATA-Docomo. In their GSM service they will charge on the basis of pay per use / pay per second and expect to revolutionize the current charges patterns for phone usage.

Now company will offer both GSM as well as CDMA services. Company said that shifting toward GSM will help them to grow as CDMA provider in India get half of the spectrum as compared to GSM providers.
