    We all know that there are many Tv programmes running based on same theme ie. talent hunt ie. searching for talented singers. We have Indian Idol 3 , we have Voice of India and also some program on Zee TV.

    Via a link I came to know about a comment from Lata Mangeshkar calling these talent hunts shows as Drama, nothing more than money making shows for Channels & playing with emotions to earn money.

    She said that she is going to attend award ceremony for one such program but she never wants to be Judge in any of these. Real talent comes from hardwork but not from VOTING or smsing.

    I totally agree with LATA JI... She is right!! We all know the fate of first INDIAN IDOL- ABHIJEET SAWANT.. He is still struggling.
    I never SMS for any of the show in different channels.

    i too agree with the comments and i have one more point of view that out of these shows generally a good singer gets out initially bcoz he doesnt belongs to a state with huge population and access to electronic media.

    People who get the real benefit are the show organizer and channel.
    For singers , it is like 2 minute fame.
