what is the biggest shortcoming of India??

any other reliable shortcomings??

What we lack is a real body or department which should work on improving efficiency of the work we do .

Like in big companies we have R&D and creative department, India too need such type of system which should work to improve efficiency as well eradicate anomaly of the way we work in India !

eg. Every other day Govt. sanctions 100 of crores for development, improvements and other works but do they really get utilized ? As per general assumptions, only 20-30% get used for actual purpose, rest is eaten by corruption, now if there is a way or team which can think upon a way to create a way of working which minimalize chances of corruption then things can turn beautiful.

Another example, almost all dept of India lacks co-ordination with each other, be it securities or city development, you may have seen many times that a new built road is spoiled by Water Dept. just because Municipal and Water Dept had no co-ordination.

So, as per my view, India need some way to make itself organize and efficient.
