Just back from India.
Don't see much changes at all, even after 10 years of reforms claims.

The airports are in chaos.
The smaller airports are like cow-sheds. No kidding.
The roads are clogged.
Customs people still want a lot of bribes to clear your cargo.
The govt hospitals are worse than pig sties.
The public transport system is overcrowded to the max.
Traffic jams all over the place.
Roads are choking with people shoulder to shoulder.
Power cuts..some cities 4 hours and more per day.

The courts are working as usual. Same timings as British colonial days
and style. 10 AM to 4 PM with 2 hr lunch break, while millions of backlog
cases pending and millions of undertrials rot in jails for years.

India shining..really..in your dreams.!!!

OK..OK..blame it on democracy..perfect excuse

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
