British ... called The Brits ... Feel disgusted as none of the British were in top in the reality show Celebrity Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother has evoked a political and social range amongst the British and non-Brits living in UK.

Brits call Shilpa’s winning a FIX. They can’t stand the fact that an Indian has won … even after the race row. They started a movement called ‘ let not shilpa win on sympathy’. But forgot  that 65% of UK’s population is non-brit.

example of how disgusted the Brits are feeling,

    they say,

So what have we learnt from Celebrity Big Brother 2007? Well, we've learnt that one short argument is enough to make up for three weeks of ball-crushing boredom, that people will stop buying your perfume if you shout at a brown person, that the public will hold you close to its heart if a pikey racially abuses you over stock cubes and that S Club 7 probably won't be played on the radio very much any more.

Can you see how rude and Ruthless there people of white skin are. They come to our country to do business and earn a fortune for them and then abuse us. They are sly and clever. They think themselves to be the rulers and makers of the world.

They are highly mistaken. Time will show them who the winner is. Grin

NRI...! I would suggest dont generalize that "white skin" people are rude or ruthless !! Infact, the use of word "white skin" itself shows  racist feeling, now from the opposite side !!

I agree, many may be a large number of british may think Asians as inferiors, but that is not a general thinking. You might be saying all this due to your own personal experience, and so am I !!! So far, touch wood, I have quite a good experience and have never faced "racism".

Good or bad, all sort of people exist in world, but we should nt generalize that some country or its people are bad. You may agree that not all Indians are kind hearted and good !!! Smiley

U r lucky Mam!! That you’v never faced any difficulty. Put yourself in someone’s shoes, who has suffered and analyze what the pain can be.

i'm talking in general ... not specific!

Indians have a general kind hearted sense in them most of Indians are humble and honest. and have respect in the blood.

there are a handful of bad people in India Miss!

but here in this country .. people have no respect what so ever. in general ... people are so individualistic and selfish. In public transport person sitting next to you wont talk to you. And in India you can make friends along your journey. This is just a minor example, I can give a million examples of how clever and rude and racist people can be.

And this is not a reaction of personal experience but of general observation and experience of any others.

First of all I think you can talk normally adressing me as Talat instead of addressing as "Mam" and "Miss" as we are not strangers !!! Smiley

Secondly, there is nothing to feel offended....I already said the most of the people in UK can be racist...but definitely not all.

Thirdly, the use of word "White skin" and saying things like this put you in same light as those racist british ! They are bad, but if you are behaving in the same manner, whats the difference between you and them ?

Fourthly, Its not just a handful of people that are bad in India, there are many, though majority is good !

Fifthly..I will just ask you a simple question...If India and Indians are so good (ofcourse they are !) why you dont go back ?

    Regards

    This poem was nominated
    "The Best Poem of 2005"
    Written by an african kid...

    When I born,
    I black.
    When I grow up,
    I black.
When I go in the sun,
    I black.
    When i scared,
    I black.
    And when I die,
    I black.

    And you white fella,
    When you born,
    you pink.
    When you grow up,
    you white.
When you go in the sun,
    you red.
    When you cold,
    you yellow.
    When you sick,
    you green.
    And when you die,
    you gray.

    And you calling me colored?!?
