Hi i am Vasanth ,im living in the outskirts of  chennai (thiruvallur district- pin. 602025), i recently applied for a new land line connection with broad band facility with BSNL . i registered online . i do not get any response from them so far. when i contacted local telephone exchange they say lame excuses like they cannot provide new connections to my area and they  say like they dont have enough cables to get connected. where as my neighbors very near to my house have BSNL land line phones and internet connecetion . I need your help to find the place to redress my grievance . Can i question BSNL on this under RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT. since they were using public tax money for their expenses and not providing good service to the public.
If i am eligible to question BSNL under RTI to whom it should be addressed and what is the procedure . Please help me on this.
